How we use AI.

We use software assistance to keep this business running cleanly with a small team. We'd rather tell you exactly where, than market around it. Here's the full picture as of June 4, 2026.

Where we use it

Listing review on shareyourboat.com. When someone submits a partnership listing, an automated assistant flags it for quality, completeness, and obvious spam. It never publishes anything on its own — every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live.
Inquiry triage. Inquiries on the marketplace are sorted by likely seriousness so we can respond quickly. The owner of the listing always receives the original inquiry verbatim.
Drafting our own marketing copy. Headlines, blog posts, and feature descriptions sometimes start as drafts from a writing assistant. A person edits and signs off before anything ships.
Engineering and operations. The team uses coding assistants to ship faster. None of this touches your data.

What we never use it for

Reading your private content. Your cruise logs, photos, messages, calendar entries, and maintenance notes are never sent to a third-party AI model. They're yours.
Marketing decisions about you personally. We never score or segment individual users for ad targeting.
Auto-approving anything customer-facing. No listing, no inquiry response, no payment, and no account change ships without a human review step.
