Partners use the Boat Partner mobile app for everyday boat life — calendar, cruise logs, photos, messaging — with a web portal available when they prefer the browser. The BRP is for managers running the boat end-to-end: accounting, paperwork, partner gating, document e-signature, and the multi-tenant operations layer across multiple boats. Same platform; the BRP is the manager seat.

Do I need partners to use the app?
No. Most of our users own their boat outright. The app is built to be useful solo — calendar, cruise logs, engine hours, photos, maintenance, how-tos. If you ever do add a partner or two, the partnership features are right there waiting.
What's the difference between Free, Solo, Shared, and Fleet?
Free lets you try the app on your boat with the last 30 days of activity. Solo ($4.99/mo or $49/yr) unlocks unlimited history for a single owner. Shared ($9.99/mo or $99/yr) adds up to 4 partners, calendar gating, the how-to author tools, and the web portal. Fleet is for marinas, brokerages, or BRP-style multi-boat operations — contact us for pricing.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Calendar, cruise logs, photo capture, and the how-to library all work offline. Edits sync the moment you're back on signal.

shareyourboat.com is our free marketplace for owners who want to split costs by sharing their boat with one or two partners. Boat Partner (this app) is the tool you and your partners then use to run the boat day-to-day. You don't need one to use the other.
Is my data really mine?
Yes. We don't sell it, we don't share it, we don't run ads against it. Cruise logs, photos, and maintenance history export from the app anytime. Account deletion is one tap in Settings.
What happens to my existing partner portal account?
Nothing changes. Sign in at /login — same email, same boat, same data.
